About Us
The vision to establish JIG School was a singular one. It was to help parents who travel far for work, get the chance to leave their little angels in a comfortable and a homely environment. The school started in a garage with one child for a whole term till more children joined later.
Then the founder had the desire to produce top breed Christian citizens capable of responding to the complexity of our millennium through the impact they would make in their local communities and beyond. To the Glory of God we’ve had some of our students represent the school both locally and internationally.
We are a day school with a closed circuit of stakeholders. The pupils and students of the school are predominantly Ghanaian whose outlook have been conditioned by their parents and guardians in the quest to mold them into responsible individuals. There’s also much emphasis on Christian values and ethics.
We’re well known for our colour day activities by the pre-school department and many more exciting extra-curricular activities for the students and pupils to have an exposure to creativity and outside the classroom learning. We can’t wait to welcome you to the JIG family!

Our History
Established in 2002, JIG School was founded by Bishop Charles Amoo and Lady Revered Janet Amoo at Teshie Bush Road in the Greater Accra Region.
Little beginnings started at their residence, House Number 123, Teshie Manhean (near the Rasta camp) in a garage with one child for a whole term till more children joined later.
The School was founded as a Christian Educational Organization. Another reason was also to help parents who commute over a long distance to send their children to school and be kept safe until their return from work.
By the 2007/2008 academic year, it became necessary to start the Primary and Junior High School departments for the continuing pupils in kindergarten.
There was limited space for the classrooms at that time so, to the Glory of God, in September 2013 the Primary and JHS department relocated to its new site at Teshie Tsuibleoo.
Construction work has been gradual and has been going on since then.
In June 2016, the school for the first time prepared its students for the B.E.C.E and to the glory of God all six (6) pupils had their first choice of secondary / high schools.
The school placed 14 out of 156 schools that sat for the exams in the LEKMA area. This year, the school registered 8 pupils and we hope that they will break the record of the pioneers.
Also to the Glory of God we had a branch of the the preschool department set up at the new site in Tsuibleoo.
As a school, we are grateful for more and more exciting opportunities and achievements.
